About The Event
Ravan Dahan Celebration at Delhi Public Elementary School
Ravan Dahan is celebrated during Dussehra to symbolize the victory of good over evil and the triumph of truth over falsehood. This auspicious occasion reminds us of the timeless values of righteousness, courage, honesty, and devotion as reflected in the epic Ramayana.
At Delhi Public Elementary School, the Ravan Dahan Celebration provides students with an opportunity to understand the cultural and spiritual significance of Dussehra. Through festive activities, storytelling, and celebrations, students learn about the ideals of Lord Rama and the importance of choosing the path of truth and goodness in their daily lives.
The celebration promotes values such as kindness, respect, discipline, and the courage to stand against negativity. It encourages students to overcome their inner evils, embrace positive thoughts, and become responsible individuals who contribute to a better society.
