A Strong Foundation for Academic Growth
Class I introduces students to structured academic learning at Delhi Public Elementary School. This stage marks an important transition from early childhood learning to a more organized and subject-based curriculum. The focus is on strengthening foundational literacy and numeracy skills while ensuring that learning remains enjoyable, interactive, and meaningful.
Students are introduced to core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies (EVS), along with creative subjects that nurture imagination and self-expression. Through phonics-based reading, guided writing practice, and number concept activities, children develop confidence in their academic abilities.
Our teaching approach combines classroom instruction with activity-based learning, storytelling, group discussions, smart-class support, and hands-on exercises. We encourage curiosity, questioning, and participation to build strong communication skills and independent thinking.
At Delhi Public Elementary School, we also emphasize values, discipline, teamwork, and positive classroom behavior. Regular assessments, interactive worksheets, and co-curricular activities ensure balanced development of every child.
Class I lays the foundation for lifelong learning by helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe and supportive environment.
